The first step is to login to your GetResponse account and then head over to the top of the screen and click “Contacts” –> “Search Contacts”

From there you should have a screen that looks similar to the one below.

Now, the next step is to start searching for the contacts that have not opened any of your emails. ?This is done by doing a search on your campaigns (example below)

The only change from the above photo for you is to change the time period. ?I recommend you change it to 30 or 60 days (1 month / 2 months) that way you have a fresh list at all times.

When you’ve got your contacts who are not opening your emails all you do then is click the blue button that says “Show Contacts”.

This will take you to a new screen where you can edit those contacts. (see below)

Select the “Choose all” box at the top, then scroll to the bottom and select “action”, then “Move to Campaign” or Remove from Account / Remove from Campaign.

That is all that it takes to do this manually every 30 days to 60 days. ?Some marketers will say to do this twice a year. However, ?if You are looking to optimize your list for buyers only – get those tire kickers off your list. Don’t get me wrong, GetResponse is a great service, and I know many of my mentors that still use GetResponse to pull in huge incomes via email.

In a perfect world, your emails would get read all the time, and you’d be providing riveting information all the time as well. ?That’s just not the case.
