Tony goes on to talk about our LC (Life Conditions) and how when it doesn’t live up to our BP (Blueprint), people will start to show different emotions come out. This is where fear, depression, anxiety, etc. all show up and reek havoc in a person life.

In a book I’ve been reading recently, I noticed that if you are looking at relationships and how they interact, you see either a diad or a triad. These can play a big factor into what’s really going on in a relationship and why people do the things they do

There are always three options when it comes to changing our happiness levels. Mainly, when we are not happy.

When our LC (life conditions) do not equal our BP (blueprint), we can do one of the following:

Change our LC
Change our BP or…
Blame ourselves or others for what’s going on in our life

Obviously, the third option is not very productive and can lead to more counter-productive issues down the road.

So whether you are new to the mindset transformation, know that you can always start by making that first decision towards being a better, more profitable person. Making the right decisions through taking captive the thoughts that are in your mind, and allowing only those thoughts that serve you. This is one of the biggest tips for true happiness in life!

3 Favorite Books About Online Business Marketing

I have been one to read a book or two in my adult years. It was actually quite rare for me to read a book as I was growing up in school and even post education years. So, in today’s post, we are going to delve into books about online business marketing.

However, as I grew into my entrepreneurial mindset, I realized that I NEEDED to read to improve my mindset. After all, if you are to provide value to your audience, you’ll need to improve to be better than you were yesterday.

This brings me to the question, Was my mindset bad, to begin with?

Well, I like to think it wasn’t, but then if you asked a successful person where I was at just a few years ago, they’d probably say – “He needs some major fine tuning!”

There’s nothing like connecting with people face to face. Something that today’s world has almost long forgotten.

The secret law of attraction is something you and I both have available inside of us already. It’s how we are created from the start. Somehow we are taught to stop being a creative force and an individual that is attractive along the way of life.

Watch this movie to its fullest and if you’re like me, get the audiobook from Audible.

The secret law of attraction is really powerful.? I found that if you only read the book, you’re more likely to slip into the aimlessness that we call life.? But if you apply these methods, you’re going to experience LIVING!

So what I suggest is that anyone that wants to improve their quality of life, should immediately start in with the RE-programming of their mind.??

Of course, the one thing that I found to be the most impactful was that most of our mindsets are not ‘programmed’ for success. ?This book goes over several examples that will help you understand what is being said.

I personally did not like those books or audios that could not come up with examples to help to understand what was being said if the subject was more advanced.

The examples in this book are almost guaranteed to resonate with you – maybe not all of the examples but you will resonate with enough of them that this book will make sense to you and give you enough ammunition to put action with these secrets into your life.

My Takeaways From “The Secret”?

1. Gratitude

It’s one thing that I have seen in life that most just have no comprehension about doing on a regular basis.? I grew up being extremely grateful because of the life I was leading and getting to play baseball as a reward for doing well in school was on point with me.

So, when that stopped (school), I felt as if there wasn’t much to set my sights on and therefore got depressed. What I should have done? Looking back, I should have found a happy place I loved to be in and be thankful for that place.? I can now see that baseball was my happy place at that time of my life.

Even though most have a tough time sitting through a game, I love the strategy in every play, pitch, walk, hit, or coaching move.

2. Thoughts Are Where Things Start Out

Growing up I would not have been able to tell you the meaning of any of the deeper things in life.?

Sure, I heard many times in church that we are supposed to guard our heart and mind as well as, take every thought captive.? But what does that mean??

Nobody really explained that to me and I was too busy at the time to really figure it out on my own. Instead, I put those things on the back burner. Then I ran into this book which explained to me why things are the way they are and how to get more out of life.

In the book, the author explains that the things we focus on will grow.? Which means that if you are focusing on the bad, those things will grow in your life.? It makes sense that I would begin changing my?focus to good things.? Stating my “I AM…” statements out loud?to myself changes my outlook and experience in life.

A really good book to read about this in addition to “The Secret” is called, “You are the Placebo”

3. Set Your Intention

Growing up and being exposed to the Bible, I remember hearing that “all things are possible”.?

But did I believe it?? Not at the time.?

What I believe now is if you set your intention and focus on a goal you will accomplish it.

This reminds me of a time when I was a pre-teen.? I wanted to attain a walkman that had all the gadgets in one unit. The features were pretty spectacular for the time period.?

The first step was to find it in a catalog, I believe it was JCPenny or one of those gadget?catalogs?at the time.

Then, I proceeded to cut it out and post it up in my room where I would see it all the time.? I set my intention to buy this genius contraption then set a plan to achieve it.

After the setup, putting action to my plan by starting to do odd chores around the house without being asked as well as?outside of the home.

Basically, anything I could do to get the $147 to buy this walkman. It was a few months of hard work but I was able to get the money. The money order was sent off to the company. Then, in a couple weeks time from ordering, a box showed up at our front door. I was completely excited! It was like Christmas arrived early that year.? I achieved my goal!

Those are just a few of the takeaways that I got from listening to this audiobook.? The movie was good too.? What I found it to be a bit short and very topical compared to the book.? I suppose I should have expected that though.

On another side of the spectrum, businesses have been known to start a blog.? ?This is a long-term?strategy but done right, can make you money in the first 90 days.? Basically, it’s all up to how much you want to invest or can afford to invest in the beginning.

Both of these first suggestions take time to turn a profit.? Only those that know what they are doing can speed up the timeline up to turn a good profit.

Beliefs About People and How They Affect Your Success

In life, we start out as an infant and grow into an adult.? However, during this period, we will structure beliefs about people that will either hinder or grow our ability to be successful.

It’s said that the top 5 people that you hang around the most will determine the income that you make.? So, why people are attracted to the negative side of this quote is something that is a mystery to a point.

I believe that those that do not go the way of success have been traumatized, hurt, scorned, or some sort of thing that has misguided their mindset or emotions.? It’s in our best interest as parents to be protective of our kids and how they are treated each and every day.? This is simply because each day has an impact on our child’s?future in ways we will never comprehend.

What It Takes To Succeed

THere are many schools of thought that could literally take you several years to study and that would get you nowhere (slight exaggeration).

But if you were to boil down the strategies that would guarantee you success.? Whatever success means to you.? You would come up with a handful of items that would guarantee you success.

Here’s my list of things that would guarantee success in anyone’s?life if they put these to work.

Laser Focus with no interruptions.
Change of mindset to a successful mindset.
Find 5 friends that will reinforce your mindset.
Choose your niche in the marketplace.
Change your beliefs about people.? They all want the same thing when it comes right down to it.

I’ll briefly go over those success principals so that it makes more sense.? This should explain why I chose these 5 principals

Laser Focus

Sometimes you hear this phrase being used without really considering how often it’s used.? Perhaps it’s so true we don’t have any idea as to how to fix it.

What I have interpreted this to mean is in a literal sense.? Be passionate about your business.? It should be something like I was when playing baseball as a teen.

Baseball was my life.? If I wasn’t in school, eating, or sleeping – I was playing baseball.? Now it mostly meant I was playing a game because that’s how our teams rolled when we were playing?during the summer.? We had doubleheaders 2 – 3 times a week and then the playoffs were a breeze.

We all knew we were in this for the long haul and when we did practice it was to get better at something we did in the last game that was disappointing to our team, coach or ourselves.

Now, to be laser-focused on your business is to love or have a passion for your service to the marketplace.? So much so, that you would do this same task or service FOR FREE if that’s what it meant for you.

I have heard so many people complain about the niche that they are serving or that they don’t know what niche to choose.? In fact, I may have been one of those people in the beginning.? But what I found out was that if you complain all the time that’s what you’ll get out of life.

Finding something that you can add to the marketplace or help others can be a very lucrative proposition.? We all have problems we want to be solved.? So go out and solve some problems with all the passion you can muster up.

It’s those that push forward and really love what they are doing that can make lemonade out of those lemons…

This is one area that I had lost the battle.

How to Stay Positive in a Negative World

I have been looking around the internet and also hearing people talk about being positive. So, I thought I would write a post about how to stay positive.

Nothing in this world matters for the most part unless you know how to be positive. This type of attitude will attract the things in life that you have always desired.

When you are negative, you are literally shutting down your power. But the truth of the matter is that you are not at fault for this. However, if you want to change, it’s up to you. You cannot walk into what you were created for unless you change your mindset.

Your success all depends on how well you can change your mindset to become one of positivity.

Understand that in the grand scheme of things:

We are human beings.
We are not perfect.
It can be difficult to choose to respond in a positive way to negative events.

But, realize that it’s not impossible and in fact, it’s quite doable if you have the right mentor and/or strategy in place.

Our Programming

We have been taught and programmed throughout life to respond negatively. Think of how you were treated as a child. You were told to stay out of the kitchen and especially away from the stove. The reason is that of fear that you would put your hand on the burner. It isn’t your fear but that of your parent.

Then when you are out and having fun in the city you were told, “STOP! LOOK BOTH WAYS!”. We are told to do that so we don’t get run over by an unsuspecting car coming by and hitting us.

Yet another fear tactic. Although it’s based out of care and love for your health and safety.

Some of the areas in our life that perpetuate the negative thinking can start at a very early age. Teachers are synonymous with using fear to get the children to respond to what they want them to do. If their plans are not followed, they could lose their job and you the child would not be able to learn from that day.

How do we change our mindset so that, it’s reflection is that of a positive mindset?

Change begins with awareness of the way we react and respond. That’s the first way to measure if you’re a walking negative time bomb who could at any moment say something rude or worse yet, ruin someone’s day.

It only takes a second to make a new choice. New choices are how you begin to embed new thought pathways in your brain.

Read Books

I know that as a kid this method, we call reading was not popular among some of the students. I WAS one of those students that opted for watching the movie rather than read the book. I’ve since changed my tune and am an avid reader.

Listen To Audio or Video

Listen to an audio or watch a video. This can be done as an add-on task during the day to maximize your time. Sure a video has the watching element but mostly talking head videos (such as the one above) can be “viewed” and still consume the audio. Generally, you won’t miss much in the video.

The other option for audio is to have an audible account and listen on your phone or in your car while you travel to work. Maximizing your time when starting out any business is key to getting success faster. This also helps you in your life balance involving your family and work time spent.

Interact With Like-Minded Individuals

This one has revolutionized my life because it doesn’t really take you being in the presence physically anymore to get the same effect. You can do a Skype chat or a weekly meeting with a webinar. As long as you are able to interact with those that are in the place you set your goals to be. You’re hanging out with them!

How To Stay Positive By Measuring Your Reaction Or Responses

Have you ever thought about how you react to certain situations? Perhaps you have flown off the handle while driving because someone came along and cut you off? If you pay attention to how you react to situations that tend to irritate you or cause you to go toward the negative spectrum. You will be leaps and bounds ahead of changing your thoughts and you’ll no longer be asking how to stay positive in a negative world.

One of the strategies that I like to implement is to have a scripture verse that I can think on during the day. This verse will speak to me about having the mind of Christ. It does a mind good to have a connection to your source all throughout the day. Try it out and keep track of your progress by writing it down on a ledger or piece of notebook paper.

This is the best way to keep your progress in front of you so you don’t get discouraged.

The attitude you take in life is going to foretell your future in both your relationships and your financial future.

Why I Wrote This Blog Post

During my twenties, I found myself getting depressed and that turned into negativity. People all around me started telling me how I viewed the world in a negative way. I never dawned on me that I could change how I viewed things and even my mindset. I thought you had to take what was given to you.

This thought pattern has changed drastically since going through all sorts of rough experiences.

Had I known what to do about it, I probably would have spotted it much sooner and made some changes. The good news is that it’s never too late to be positive in life. It just takes a split second decision to change how you are responding to the daily inputs of life.

If you’re in business, you’ve probably heard many responses as to why they won’t join you in business. But you need to know that it’s not the end of the journey for your prospect. In today’s post, we are going to tackle how to overcome scam or pyramid scheme objections.

Here are a couple of retorts, if you will, that you could ask them.

Of course, do this in a manner that says to them that you care about them and would never WILLINGLY mislead them.

Ask them the question: “Do you have a job?”. Most of the time, they are going to say yes. If they don’t have a job, ask them what they do for a living.
- The point of this line of questioning is to show them that they are already in a pyramid system that is rapidly changing. As a result, you can then show them how we are now in a digital world.
Ask if they have been paying attention to how difficult it is to trade time for money. This is a question to build your authority. You know something that they need to learn about (online or offline presence).
Ask them if they are willing open thier mind to new possibilities. If they cannot see themselves jumping in and learning, then show them this video

This Is A Scam

If you receive a retort from someone who you are trying to scam them into buying. Right off you probably should ask yourself, how much do you want a person that is quick on the draw to distrust what you do?

The other consideration is that when they do come back with this objection, it’s mainly out of fear. Fear comes from many instances.

This is where you find out if you can move forward with prospecting them or if you just need to move on and forward.

Ask these questions:

Is this a reaction based because of fear of losing money?
Does this person not trust people who want to help them? So everything is a scam to them.
What is their motivation for wanting to start a home business?

Find out a little more about them and see if you can find out why they respond like they have to you. Because the whole idea here is to find out how you can overcome scam or pyramid scheme objection they have tossed out at you.

Why The Scam or Pyramid Objection Is Presented

There is a deeper issue going on here when the objection of a pyramid or scam comes up. Typically, they have either been a part of or heard someone gets taken for their money if the customer is claiming your business is a scam.

If we were to delve a bit deeper into the scam objection, you’ll see that the customer does not trust you…

..YET!

If you’re willing to put some effort into gaining their trust, you will have a customer and perhaps a great friend!

On the pyramid side of things, it’s just a matter of showing the prospect that they are already in a system built on pyramids. It’s called the industrial age where people show up to work every day. Putting in their 8-12 hours of work for hourly pay.

The only thing that has changed is that we have moved to the digital age and the potentially wealthy are learning how to leverage their time to make themselves rich both in time and financially.

What You’re Saying To The Prospect.

So, the choice is theirs (or yours if the shoe fits).

Learn the way to wealth and prosperity or continue getting what you’ve always been receiving.

Most people are not happy with what they are bringing in, so they look in other avenues to increase. I believe that’s why uber and other services are so popular. Because it’s the belief that they don’t have to sell anything to receive an extra income.

The truth of the matter is that you are always selling something.

How else would a driver for Uber get a tip? They are selling their service to the rider. If the ride was pleasant, the driver is more likely to get a tip from the rider. Even a good write up for the driver is great with a 5 star rating. When we are in business for ourselves, we depend on testimonials and word of mouth advertising.

Now if you’re already selling at every turn but you’re not willing to recognize that you are selling, You should just embrace it and work with what you know. Be honest and never mislead a customer.

That’s a quote that I saw on someone’s wall recently and it’s so simple yet very profound.

I find that people tend to move so fast in today’s world (especially in the U.S.A) that we forget to stop and smell the roses.

Why is it that way?

The Million Dollar Question

You see when you stop and think about the things that we as American’s do all day long, it can really start to cause stress in life.? There’s the daily job drama that can add to those stresses.? Not to mention the strife that every family goes through at one point or another in their life.

or, maybe you have a spouse that does SO MUCH for you that you just don’t realize it until they get sick, end up in the hospital and then find out there’s no cure for that sickness.

This is what happened to me back in 2010.

I couldn’t believe my eyes.? Here I was battling a kidney stone wondering when and where I’ll get to actually get to get rid of the stone and the feeling of having to go to the bathroom all the time and not knowing if it will actually happen or not.

Making The Best Out Of What You Have

You see I got married early as a late teen and then turned right around and got divorced. I fell into a depression and spun my wheels for several years.

Then, I met my 2nd wife who I thought would be my wife for MANY MANY YEARS.? We had plans to get rich…uh hem…WEALTHY.

You know…? just like most of us do.

But “how” was the question.? She would ask her dad to give me tips on how I could set out to accomplish this too.? Her dad was the model of success that she had access to in life – even when she was sick.

But all he would tell us is to work hard.? Honestly, I don’t think he really knew what to say because of when and where he grew up. He lived in the industrial age – which is no longer the age we live in.

Today, we live in the digital age, which makes complete sense for her dad not to know what to tell us…

Work hard to get good grades so maybe you’ll be accepted into an elite college, where you’ll be lucky enough to work harder to get straight “A’s”.?

Once that’s complete, you’re off to work for an employer that has the complete control of how much you make when you get to take a vacation and how much you take.

This usually speaks to where you take a vacation as well.? Your employer doesn’t want you to go too far away from your post if you’re in management.? To solidify this, they give you a cell phone with email access and a laptop to do work while on vacation.

That’s not what I wanted in life.?

There had to be more in life than this.

I didn’t sign up for a job as a slave just to have the things that I wanted in life.?

Nor did I sign up to have a wife die early to one of the deadliest diseases known to Americans and probably around the world.

Cancer.

It took only 10 months for her to go from healthy to bedridden and blind, then off to heaven.

It seemed that my dreams and hopes were gone.

But as fate would have it, only 2 years later I would be married to my current wife and have the best time of my life.

It seems that we really do get what we focus on and it doesn?t matter what it is we focus on.?

Positive, negative, indifferent, poor, rich, lack, abundance.

It?s all there for us to grab as much as we want, of whatever we want.

But that?s just a glimpse of what I have learned.

The fact that I found a way to express myself and also have a way to change my financial future is what I call truly blessed.

How did I find this blessing?

Simple.

Before my 2nd wife got sick, she started selling things through home parties.

I liked the products (candles in this case) but didn?t really want to do home parties to make extra money from home.? Besides, how many people sign up to do home parties in the spare time that they already don?t have?

Not me.

I wanted to find a way on how to start making money online with my own business…

So I kept searching.

I went from one company to another and watched friends go to new heights in their business only to see me still struggle.? (sound familiar?!)

I did some investigating and realized I was stuck because of my mindset, and in the beginning, you need a support system at the very least.

The next step to seeing the success you want in business is to be laser focused.

What does this mean?

Simply put.? Stay consistent with the fundamentals you are being taught.

Keep on track with mindset improvement.

Continually drive more traffic to your business.? Whether it be your blog post from a new blog site you are building or a funnel that drives sales.? It’s how you let the marketplace of your business.

Last and probably the most crucial step to your success is DO NOT GIVE UP AFTER 1 WEEK.? 1 week of failure does not mean you failed.? Press into the skill that you’re building. This is akin to going to the gym and working out because you want a better and stronger body.

How does this take place?

You start feeding on positive words, things like scripture in the bible is a great way to start flushing out the negative or bad beliefs in your life.

Fact: It takes 21 days to create a habit.

Dr. Leaf has found out that it only takes 4 days to wipe out the negative thoughts in our lives – which look like trees in our brains.

The other 17 days are spent creating the new positive beliefs and thought trees in your life.

Forgiveness

One of the biggest reasons people succumb to a disease. It’s literally tied to emotions and hormones being produced in your body that cause the disease.

Our thought lives are creating highways and byways constantly. When we create these paths it’s great but what happens when a negative thought passes through our lives as truth?

A great example of this which would better explain the situation is to picture a photo of a road with a fallen tree blocking that road. The toxic tree will block your progression to your better self. This is a 4-day process in our thought lives comparatively.

Thoughts Happen All The Time

We are constantly denying and approving thoughts in our lives whether we know it or not. It is imperative to analyze our thought processes and figure out how we think.

There are a few questions that you can ask yourself to figure out if you have a toxic thought life.

For example, consider the following:

How many

a. “could have”, “would have”, “should have” statements have you made today?

b. “if only’s” were part of your inner vocabulary today?

c. times have you replayed in your head a conversation or situation that pained you or one that hasn’t even occurred yet?

d. scenarios have you created for the unpredictable future?

How much is speculation taking time out of your day?

Are passive thoughts continually barraging your mind?

How honest are you with yourself?

Are you at cross-purposes with yourself – going through the motions, but not really committed to the goal, saying one thing but meaning another?

How distorted is your thinking? Are you forming a personal identity around, for example, a disease? Do you speak about “my arthritis”, “my multiple sclerosis”, “my heart problem”?

Do you ever make comments like “nothing ever goes right for me”; “everything I touch fails”; “I always mess up”?

These are all thoughts that are a signal you should go through this 21-day program. It’s all based on Christian, biblical beliefs. So you know you’re going to get solid teaching.

As per the video, you’ll see that doing advertising on Craigslist.org is a matter of abiding by the rules they put forth. However, there are some caveats to using Craigslist, such as:

If you choose to use the paid option, you will get more traffic but if it gets flagged, you’re out $25 or whatever you spent on the ad. So there is a risk of doing business with Craigslist.
When using the free option, you’re more likely to get flagged for anything that is non-compliant.

These are just a couple of items that you have to watch out for when using Craigslist to advertise. You can use an autoresponder to capture and communicate with your leads. However, I found that I like GetResponse much better than the rest of this AR (Auto-Responder) class. I would also give Aweber a close second in this genre of AR.

- Also, be doubly sure that your autoresponder is ready and set up for your new leads. These days, there are smart autoresponders that will put your leads through a workflow, and automatically segment your leads as well.
Blogging
- This can be a free method but should be converted very fast into a paid product such as any WordPress blog hosted on Godaddy. This gives you space to advertise to those coming to your blog. It also gives you a home on the internet that allows you to control content the public sees.

Considerations For 2018

Nowadays, Craigslist has cracked down on using any sort of link in your advertising. So the best way to do advertising through Craigslist is to use a photo with a web URL that is easy to remember. DO NOT — USE any sort of URL shorteners. If that is necessary, try using a plugin called Pretty link. you’ll be able to track your link opens and also have a URL that people can remember.

Now, if you’re marketing budget is ready for some leads, you can pay to advertise on Craigslist. Last I checked there is a flat fee of $25. The caveat to this is your ad is still subject to those that flag posts. This can cause your ad to be removed permanently.

This is a risk that as an entrepreneur, you are ready to take.

There are many ways to drive traffic to your offer and I’ll list a couple here but just know there are so many that you could use that it’s really up to your imagination (the saying, ‘you get what you put out’ mantra.? So, be moral and upstanding on how you do this – as illegal activities have a way of coming back to bite you)

How Do You Drive Traffic To A Cold Offer?
The most obvious method of doing this is to share your product on social media. ?Now there is a caveat to all methods and especially using social media.
Facebook is one of those media outlets where you need to be strategic in how you share your product.
Going from a newbie marketer, doing what the current company I joined told me to do, to now being able to take a step back and really see exactly what was going on is education that I can now say is quite valuable.
I know that when I started I wanted to just have the answers given to me.? But, that’s not the way to really learn the trade of marketing.
Failure does equal success in 99.9% of businesses.? The part that can be taught without having to fail is where to get traffic.
But that’s all you can expect because traffic is different for each business owner.? You’ll need to test all your traffic.
Doing What Your MLM Company Suggests
What most MLM companies do is basically tell everyone in the company to share a status update on their profile page, using their graphics on your social profiles, and even changing the face picture to their logo.
Most newbies would follow this method if they said it was going to make you lots of money, right? ?Well, the opposite was true. ?This only created an interest at first and drove more people directly to the company rather than to the person.

Facebook isn’t the only social network on the planet even if it’s the #2 site in the world next to Google. Leverage your advertising with other social outlets, such as – but not limited to – Facebook,?Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter and many others.

Solo Ads

If you’re not familiar with marketing because you’re new to marketing or you just haven’t spent any time getting to know what these different types of marketing strategies are, you will really get a lot of value out of the rest of this post.

What is a solo ad?

It’s a method of emailing people your product or service using a list generated by someone other than yourself.

If you can find the right person to connect with and is willing to let you use their list, you may be able to gain more subscribers, sales, and more.

On the flip side, you could also be throwing money out the door.

The thing to remember is you have to take a chance if you’re going to learn how to succeed.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
I listed a Company name Google up on option number two. And the?fourth option is going to have a lot to do with Google, Yahoo, BING, and all the other search engines in the world.
SEO is an acronym that stands for search engine optimization. ?It is a really viable method of driving traffic to your website which you can then sell your product. If people are looking for your website they already should know that you have a product to sell or information to give them.
With the different animals that Google keeps coming up with, you’ll have to stay up with the rules on how to be effective in the search engine optimization (SEO) skill.
What does SEO do for you? Well, it’s a way to generate traffic using keywords so that your website gets new visitors and return visitors on autopilot essentially.? Part of doing SEO is to have back links from trusted sources.? When you can find a backlink, it’s best to give them credit from?one of your posts on your blog.? You can do this by saying something like this:

This is just a small list of search terms that could be used to find this blog. ?Most of the links above are internal to this blog.? However, you’ll want to send out links to other blogs that you find will provide value to your audience.? This will build your trust with your audience and open them up to clicking on your content more often.
Your audience likes variety, so give them variety.? No one man/woman show in your blog posts.
Once you have the grasp on how to create enough traffic to your offer, you can step into the next “C”.

2. Collect Emails

I learned really fast that you need to have a way to collect emails so that you can stay in touch with those that are interested in what you have to offer.

This also means you need to have a different method of emailing your list because a standard email client will not work (webmail, outlook, apple mail, etc).

You will want to start building your list to a size where you have thousands that receive your emails, by consistently sending them to a lead capture page where they will opt-in and subscribe to 2 things.

The subscription authorizes you to send valuable follow-up email messages (automated and manual), where they are able to get to know, like and trust you and your business. ?They can also unsubscribe at any time.

I have my recommendations of what tools to use in order to be sure to get your business up and running the correct way. ?I say correctly because there is a way to do things on the cheap – in which one of those ways is using webmail (you’ll get shut down faster than lightning can strike the ground).

Yes, there is a way to do things that will not break the bank.

Different Methods of Email Marketing

If you prefer not to use company pages to collect emails, then you can certainly create your own capture pages. ?I use a company called LeadPages. ?They offer the most flexibility in how you put together your capture page.

The other tool you’ll need is an Email autoresponder – which allows you to email hundreds to thousands of subscribers all at once. ?I use a company called Drip Email Marketing and also recommend Aweber as well.

Go ahead and set up your tools for marketing now… ?(I’ll wait…) 🙂

3. Convert Sales

The best and only way to do this is to be consistent in what you do. ?Know what you are doing (blogging, email your list, etc.) and let people get to know, like and trust you. ?This is the way to generate sales on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

We ALL want to have a secure future. Working the 9-5 is one way to get by on a daily basis. But, what are you willing to give up so that you and your family can have a better future?

Something that most are not willing to do is pay for ads.? I completely get it if you’re a bit hesitant with the paid ads.? But you should definitely make time to learn paid ads.

Facebook can be brutal if you don’t know what you’re doing.? Literally, you can spend all your money with them and not get one sale.? That’s why it’s VERY IMPORTANT to know your target audience.? This will allow you to know the struggles they are going through.? Once you know the struggles of your niche, you’ll be able to give them the answer they are looking for.? Now you’re setting yourself up to be an authority in their life.

One of the most violated strategies of any online or home business is that of the knowledge hoarder.? If you’ve gone to any sort of training, and never did a thing with that information.? You might be a knowledge hoarder!

I didn’t until I took a step back and wondered why I wasn’t getting any traction to my online business.? Then I decided to take a look at why.

So now that you’ve waited over a month, why haven’t you practiced this skill yet and started teaching what you have learned?

Now, I’ve sat down and listened to someone talk for an hour or two and they gave really awesome content.? So much so that you took REALLY good notes and plan on putting those notes into practice.

So you went as far as taking notes on a webinar or at an event. Now what?!

Those notes that you’re taking might be misplaced somewhere if you have any similarity to how I organized my notes. It didn’t matter that I have the notes app on my iPhone either.

Notes may keep your notes in one place, but that doesn’t mean they are organized by title.? I know you can search out your notes for specific keywords, but what if you just want to do some review?

My point is that when I started out, I just did notes with the run and gun approach.? Pull out a piece of paper and pen then wrote what I thought I needed to remember about the talk I was listening to.

Afterwards, those notes seemed to get lost in the car, which those papers went into a big bag when I would detail the inside of the car.

I’m probably one of the biggest knowledge hoarders that I know.? sounds familiar, right?? (I feel like a complete ID10T because I have all this knowledge and am withholding it from you.)

What To Do About Knowledge Hoarder Excuses

There’s really only one way out of this mess I like to call, knowledge hoarding.

It’s a simple fix though.

Take one step and start implementing what you know as well as what you learned.? Now teach it in some way.? There’s a really great way to do that. I’m pretty sure you know a few ways to spread your knowledge around.? You can blog about it, do a video (YouTube, Vimeo).

Now if you’re up to being completely transparent with your audience, you can do a LIVE video either on Facebook, Instagram, Google+, YouTube – which requires 1000 subscribers for mobile LIVE – or do a periscope.? All of these options are great options to begin teaching.

THink about how you will be impacting the marketplace.

Fear of producing great content

I’ve found over the years of my endeavors in the online world of business, I have had a healthy fear – is that even possible to be healthy in fear – of producing the content that I learned.

I supposed it’s simple to figure out why.? Maybe you have been in this camp as well.? Perhaps you can relate to what my fear was all about.

I thought that because I learned something that everyone would go to the same source and learn about the same stuff that I learned and just didn’t need to be the one to teach the topic.? I was told I’m a great teacher and that I should just forget about what could happen (all negative thoughts of failure, rejection, and anything you could imagine) and jump in and follow Nike’s theme.

One of the things you will experience when you cancel out that fear in your head is you feel free to be creative, give advice, jump all in.

I remember a time when I was just starting out in the MLM industry.? A family member approached and I asked about the shakes that she was taking and if they were getting good results.? I? tried them and did my due diligence about the company, then signed up!? I had aspirations to greatness.

Believe me!

Never did I know how to go about getting all these aspirations into a strategy that would reach the masses.? I was dumbfounded when others were absolutely crushing it.

Where are they getting all these leads, and ultimately a bigger downline (just like I was shooting for) I learned a ton from this system

All I could see was the social media influence of friends and family to go and talk to about the new products I had just bought into.

I had a huge fear of talking to strangers, and I am still a little shy.? However, I found strategies that I can walk right into and apply.? Fear has gone because I took action on a strategy that I learned about.? Maybe it was doing a video on YouTube or blogging.

The Write Methods Of Sharing

I used to think blogging was just one big waste of time.? Well, it turns out that it really isn’t wasteful at all.? Why you say, did you think that?

It started when I began my journey in the entrepreneurial world.? I started promoting a company that soon fell by the wayside.? I had to find another to promote.? At least that was what I thought at the time.

So I jumped into a business that sold blogs and told you to blog every day for 3 weeks straight, then it was a 30-day blogging challenge.? All to get page views and yet this blogging industry was so very new.? Nobody REALLY knew how to blog properly to get any traction.

Sure they would get views, sales, etc. by sending their blog posts to their lists of thousands.? But what about the writing methods and where to share them to get the best ROI?? How about finding your crowd?

Like I mentioned above, there’s an awesome opportunity to blog about what you know.? I like this method because not only are you putting it down on “paper” but you are offering your “notes” to the world essentially.? Your notes can be as ugly as ever or very neat and organized.

Obviously, I believe the more organized and readable it is, the more page views you’ll get and repeat visitors.

So, blogging is a great way to start.

There are 2 questions you’ll need to ask yourself first before embarking on the blogging journey.

Who is your niche?? You’ll need to dig in and really be specific on this one.? The reason for this is many.
1. You need to know their language, so you can speak it to them.? Most of the time they have a lingo that you can speak to them and that will be a form of trust.? This brings in the know, like, trust factors when it comes to selling things to your niche/audience.
What is your reason for wanting a better life or for endeavoring to have more?? If your reason for making a splash in business isn’t strong enough, or about something or someone other than yourself, you will end up quitting or never starting.? Solidify your WHY.? Don’t put it off..

As a recovering knowledge hoarder, I know how hard it can be to take that first step.? Honestly, you just have to jump?and trust that you are better for it.

Don’t listen to naysayers.? They are the very people who want to hold you back because they didn’t have the guts to jump out long enough for their parachute to open.? You have got to believe in yourself…

The world can be your oyster if you let it.

The subject today is brand marketing. This is what I’m going to address and how you do it as a new or advanced business owner. This applies to all small and large business owners alike in the internet marketing space.

…even if you’re new to the entrepreneurial space, this works for you too!

Most new business owners have a perception that they join up on a business with their sponsor and they can ride the wave that their sponsor has created. Some of that is true but you have to create your brand and know what you stand for in business. It’s the same in businesses you see in your city too.

Target has their way of selling that is different from Walmart or Kmart. It’s their brand that sells people (and location)

So while you may not be a brick and mortar store, setting up shop the proper way is most imperative!

Setting Your Brand Marketing Up

The first thing you need to start doing as a new business owner is

Provide Value This means actually searching places out on the internet and taking notes, and then sharing it via a blog, video, or both on all of your social media outlets.Get focused on who you’re serving and give them what they are searching for. Be consistent because you are their answer to the issues they are having. If you aren’t consistent, you’ll likely miss them on the day they need you most. This is where the sales come from.Providing value on a daily, weekly basis is what you should start your focus on right out of the gate. I’d say a good rule of thumb is to be posting on social media multiple times a day and doing a video at least once a week to multiple times a week.
Encouragement It’s always the positive person that reaps positive actions. I’ve always seen the positive person show up again and again. They never quit doing good, which in turn, pays them VERY WELL. This one skill will keep your business and personal life full of blessing – and not just for you as you speak life into others.Realize that the world we live in right now is one of turmoil and when we leave work for the day, people do not want to sit and listen to you complain and berate on social media. Do you ever hang out on a post that is negative? Most of the time, you’re looking for a reason to laugh, gain knowledge, or to be encouraged.
Problem Solving One of the first questions I had when I started as a business owner online, was where do I find these problems? I’ve been a problem solver for well over 20 years and they usually just put a ticket in and I go fix their problem. (This is the mindset of an Information Technology employee). So in order to start looking for problems to solve, you have to know where to find them. The first place to look is in Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google+ groups. You can start a twitter feed using lists to find problems to solve as well. These are just a couple of the many you can use to find problems to solve. The best problems are the ones you find with people you already know.

3 Tips To Stay positive in business and life

You are the only one that can stop the locomotive of success in your life. Home business looks like you’re going to be rich right out of the gate, but as you know, it takes some doing and hard work to get that locomotive into motion. This journey is going to be a marathon and not a sprint, so prepare your mindset for it, keep your attitude in check and keep moving down the track of success, because even when you think you’ve arrived there’s still more to learn and improve on. Just enjoy the ride.
You have everything inside of you RIGHT NOW to be as successful as you want or need to be. Use your uniqueness to accelerate into the place you are created to be.
Words are powerful; more powerful than any emotion. So create your emotions with your words by speaking to your subconscious and your mind to be more joyful, positive, and you’ll start seeing more people come into your life who appreciate you and want whatever it is you’re selling them.

Those are the 3 tips for today that have helped me stay out of that pit of despair that many enter into when they are feeling sorry for themselves rather than focus on others.

What to Say When You Talk to Yourself
Have you ever told yourself that you could never have this or that, and then justify your words?
I know I used to think stuff like that but what I have learned through this book and through reading the Bible is that we are able to achieve greatness and when we achieve greatness more times than not, you also have things that go right along with that greatness.
“Success leaves clues” and so does your mindset. People that have a poverty mindset do not accomplish the things that abundant mindset people accomplish. The book here will teach you how to talk to yourself in a way that is self-serving – allowing yourself to be successful at a much higher level.
Remember you are only awake for 12-16 hours tops per day. Our sub-conscience is awake 24hrs per day. So to get your sleeping hours under control you must feed your mind and ultimately your heart what you believe.

WOW! What a powerful book to read. It’s one that is a long read in that there are more pages than the standard 200-250 that most books have. This one is just a mere 521 pages.
The things you will learn in this book are structured like a college class. Og Mandino brings in 50 world-renown experts. You’ll learn how to be successful in all that you do.
Here’s one brief subtitle in the book that I thought is very thought-provoking and ultimately true.
