3 Favorite Books About Online Business Marketing

I have been one to read a book or two in my adult years. It was actually quite rare for me to read a book as I was growing up in school and even post education years. So, in today’s post, we are going to delve into books about online business marketing.

However, as I grew into my entrepreneurial mindset, I realized that I NEEDED to read to improve my mindset.  After all, if you are to provide value to your audience, you’ll need to improve to be better than you were yesterday.

This brings me to the question, Was my mindset bad, to begin with?

Well, I like to think it wasn’t, but then if you asked a successful person where I was at just a few years ago, they’d probably say – “He needs some major fine tuning!”

My Journey Started With…

So my journey to self-improvement began. Something I started doing way back in the early 1990s then quickly gave up because my vision wasn’t seeing the true reason for improving.

Without further ado, here are 3 of my favorite books that will show you to the promised land concerning online business marketing.

GoPro by Eric Worre

This book is a great book to read when you’re just starting out in business. Eric gently goes through some of the best strategies and even tackles some of the ‘old school’ strategies in marketing. He goes on to say that some of the old school marketing strategies are still very viable today but there are some twists to add in that help tremendously. There’s nothing like connecting with people face to face. Something that today’s world has almost long forgotten.

Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook by Gary Vaynerchuk

Very well written book about how to market using social media. Gary Vaynerchuk sees a problem in the noisy world of social media and it’s very disturbing to see all the noise go out the door and not be used. It’s definitely a noisy world but you can be louder and more prolific if you are able to follow the advice of #GaryVee. I would definitely suggest this book be part of your reading. Secrets of the Millionaire Mind

This is yet another book that I highly recommend. The mindset that T.Harv Eker tells us about. When I was reading through this book, I don’t think there was a page that I didn’t have one of those “Ah-ha” moments. I’m sure you are that person that loves to ready because you found this blog by searching for “favorite books“

Reading is a key element to anyone’s success in home business or for that matter, running a business period. You’d want to make sure that the reading is specific to your niche or that it applies to business building.

These Books Are Important Reference Tools

The smart thing is to be able to tell others about what you’re learning in a place that is available for consumption all hours of the day and night.

The place to tell people about what you’ve learned while reading these books is a blog. The blog should include a video along with your post. 

What To Do With Books About Online Business Marketing After Reading Them?

There’s a ton of things that happen to you when you’re reading a book.  Some have excellent comprehension.  I found that I need to write about the book by either taking notes or starting a blog post about the book.

Another great way to do a post is to share a video about the book or course or whatever it is you wish to remember.  I have followed a few that will literally just share what they have read in a book and do that on a daily basis.  

If you’re looking to build a YouTube audience and be looked upon as an expert, you’ll want to edit your videos to put that cherry on top.  It’s the detail that matters in making a name for yourself.  

So you’re going to need some place to store your videos. A place that is guaranteed to keep them viable, accessible, etc.

A great place to store your video is on a platform called Sprout Video. This service allows unlimited storage allowing you to essentially back up your youtube videos. We all know someone or are that person who has either had an entire account removed/deleted or specific videos wiped out due to people complaining about videos.  This is why you need to have a platform that allows you to own your videos and that these videos are safe.

Other Essentials

The other essential for your blog is to have an Autoresponder that will grow with you. Your trial with the Drip email marketing system?will set you up properly (for FREE) so you can start building your email list.? I know you’ve heard that the money is in the follow-up.? Well, on the internet, the follow up is via email.

Why Reading is Necessary

Whether it is real estate, network marketing, Internet Marketing, or just a hobby that you want to learn how to create side cash from, book reading is one solid way to learn a skill.  

Reading about your topic can make you the expert that everyone wants to follow, get their questions answered and ultimately learn from in anyway possible.

You’ve read about becoming an expert in your chosen niche you have that knowledge from all the reading you’ve done.  THen you pull from life experience and you’re the de facto expert.

One of the books that I suggest you start to read if this is the path you’re looking to follow is a book called, “The Millionaire Messenger” by Brendon Burchard.

That’s the first step into becoming an expert.  Read about your endeavor and then follow it.  Learn all that you can about that next phase in life you are pursuing.
